Meet Deb

Deb Roberts, MA, SAC, LPC-IT

Deb has a history working in youth and children’s ministry which spurred her desire to pursue the counseling field earning a Master’s in Counseling, with an emphasis in Substance Abuse and Addiction. In addition to working with people suffering from substance abuse and addiction, she has worked in youth stabilization facilities with youth experiencing behavioral and family issues, has experience working with people transitioning from prison and incarceration into the community, domestic violence, abuse, trauma, depression, bi-polar, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem, adjustment, and self-confidence issues. Her experience also includes treating  personality disorders. Deb's therapies include person centered, strength focused, narrative, motivational interviewing, CBT, mindfulness, and encouragement. Her favorite motivation is to never give up; when one approach does not seem to be moving things forward, try another. She believes people are the master of their own choices.
